About DREAM


Originally founded in 1991 as Harlem RBI, DREAM has grown to annually serve more than 2,500 youth across East Harlem and the South Bronx through a network of seven PreK-12, extended-day, extended-year DREAM Charter Schools and community sports-based youth development programs. School Operations Staff includes the Operations Coordinator, Operations Manager, and Director of Operations. According to each level, the Operations Staff is responsible for supporting school-based staff with operational information systems, maintaining and analyzing operational data, supporting student recruitment and enrollment, supporting and managing special projects, and coordinating any network-wide academic or operational purchasing.


What You’ll Do as a DREAM Operations Coordinator, Manager, or Director:
  • Create and maintain strong school systems and procedures resulting in operational excellence within the school
  • Provide excellent customer service to students, staff, and families
  • Support with ensuring facilities issues are resolved in a timely manner
  • Drive student recruitment
  • Manage scholar information systems
  • Engage with families and build strong relationships
  • Conduct data entry and analysis
  • Support with the planning and implementation of school-wide events, field trips, etc.
  • Support with logistics for testing

What We’re Looking for in DREAM Operations Staff:
  • Bachelor's degree, required
  • At least 2 years of administrative experience, preferably in schools or a non-profit setting
  • Leadership experience for the Director level role
  • Bilingual Spanish/English, preferred
  • Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Outstanding dependability

Compensation
  • DREAM offers a competitive salary commensurate with relevant experience with the potential for an annual performance-based increase. The incoming salary range for school operations positions are $50,000  to $55,000 per year (Operations Coordinators), $70,000 to $75,000 per year (Operations Managers), and $100,000 to $120,000 (Director of Operations). New hires are typically brought into the organization at a salary closer to the start of the range depending on qualifications, internal equity, and the budgeted amount for the role. All staff are eligible for annual performance-based increases. Because we value staff tenure in each role, we do not currently cap salary ranges.
